because the girlfriends weren't allowed to partake in the mild male-only events the night before (not to be confused with the bachelor party weeks ago), we drove up the afternoon of the wedding day to the hollywood standard to get ready. the bridesmaids (and bridesman + gf) stayed at the mondrian.
hosted at boulevard3 in hollywood, i can easily say it was the most beautiful wedding i have ever and will ever attend. the ceremony was short and sweet, but i never expected to cry. five times. the way he looked at her walking down the aisle, the way she looked at him, her dress, her christian louboutin shoes (kidding, sort of), the vows, etc., everything made me cry. then it was cocktail hour with an open bar for two hours before the amazing dinner and veuve cliquot toast. after all the pomp and circumstance was the real reception, when debauchery let loose inside and outside (in the photobooth). all the DJ pals played their sets and everyone tore it up on the dance floor. did i mention there was a photobooth? and a taqueria taco booth. no, really.
and nowwwwwwwwwwwwwww, pictures by samuel lippke!
